But what about this time of year, the "in-between" season when fresh, local fruit is nowhere to be found? What then? This is the time for pantry pies, pies we can whip up just by reaching into the fridge and pantry and pulling out a few essentials. We'll do just that for this class, and bake up two fabulous pies you never imagined could taste so good with such basic ingredients. Ken will show you how to make a delicious Double Crust Raisin Pie - the Amish have a name for it that Ken will share with you in class - and a creamy, dreamy Peanut Butter Custard Pie.
