FRIED FRUIT PIES

Join Ken Haedrich, dean of The Pie Academy, for this first ever class on a sizzlin' hot topic - fried pies! There's nothing quite like a still-warm fried fruit pie, glazed or dusted with confectioners' sugar, thank you. We'll make two - one with a fall apple-cinnamon filling, the other made with frozen dark cherries. We'll consider different frying options, as well the best way to bake these. Yep - they can also be baked instead of fried. These fried pies will be right at home at any casual fall gathering you have planned, from leaf raking parties to potluck dinners.
