Fall's here - time to usher in the new season with a couple of exciting live Pie Academy classes. First up, Cabbage & Beef Pie, savory, hearty, scrumptious, and the perfect dish to make on those cool fall afternoons. We'll take that same delicious filling and turn it into stuffed buns known as bierocks. We'll use a homemade yeast dough, but you can substitute store-bought pizza dough if you like. These hand-held bundles are a real treat. On October 8th we'll be digging into apple pie - not just any apple pie, but one that's baked in a paper bag. You don't have to use the bag, but it does make for an extra-special pie - super-juicy and beautifully top-crusted. Not to mention dramatic. We'll finish off this session with a crash course in mini apple pies, the perfect choice when less is more. Get ready for a couple of memorable classes.
