According to Ken, raspberry pie just might be the most overlooked pie of the summer season...and he'd like to help change that. So he's giving raspberry pie the love it deserves in this class dedicated to what he calls "the hidden jewel of the fruit pie season." Ken takes the traditional approach to raspberry pie and does his with a flaky double crust; that's how we'll do it in this class. We'll weigh the pros and cons of fresh fruit vs frozen, talk about the little nuances that can elevate the filling's flavor, give it a finishing flourish and - bottom line - give raspberry pie the royal treatment. As for those raspberry seeds some cooks complain about, Ken says they're so soft and tiny that it would be a crying shame to miss out on such a fabulous pie for something so insignificant.
