Have you ever baked an apple pie...in a paper bag? Yep, it's a thing, and a delicious thing at that: the bag creates a steamy environment that makes for great theatre - invite your friends for the dramatic unveiling - a crunchy-crusty top, and extra-juicy filling. Of course, you can always skip the bag and bake yours directly on a sheet; it'll be fabulous either way. We'll bake one in class, and once it goes in the oven Ken will hold a little crash course session on mini apple pies. We'll brush up on our apple pie basics and get ready to make the best of the 2023 apple harvest.
