Working with one very adaptable master berry filling, you'll learn all of Ken's tricks and tips for making your pan pies the toast of summer.
Glazed Berry Hand Pies
If your berry hand pies aren't bursting at the seams with juicy filling, then you just haven't lived! Using Ken's favorite buttery hand pie dough, we'll make them big and small, dust some with confectioners' sugar, and drizzle others with a Maple Confectioners' Glaze. With some advance prep, you can have these on your summer table in a jiffy.
Berries and Custard: Perfect Pie Partners
Take a handful of perfectly ripe, jewel-like summer berries, arrange them in a homemade mini crumb crust shell, and set them swimming in a thick pool of vanilla custard sauce - and that pretty much sums up what this segment is all about.
