Apple Fritters!
Sunday, Sept 20th, 2:00 PM Eastern
Quick: when was the last time you enjoyed a freshly made apple fritter?
If you had to think about it, it's been too long! So pull up a chair, turn on your computer, and let Ken reintroduce you to this chock-full-of-fresh-apples delight.
Ken's recipe is for the home cook. Bakeries make apple fritters with bits and pieces of yeast dough, but our simple version is made with a soft and tender buttermilk batter, not unlike a batter you'd use to make pancakes.
This is a treat you'll want to invite friends and family over for. They're meant to be eaten warm, lavishly glazed or coated with cinnamon sugar. Ken will show you how we do both...and send you on your way with a bushelful of tips and tricks so your own fritters cook up perfectly your first time around.
Sound tempting? Perfect! We'll see you in class.
