THE FARMERS MARKET SUMMER COOKING SCHOOL (SEASON 3)

June 18th and 25th; July 2nd, 9th, and 16th - Plus one Zoom meet-and-greet session in early August (date TBD) - 7:00 PM Eastern

So some of you have been wondering if we’re going to bring back our very popular Farmers Market Summer Cooking School.

If you’re new here, we held seasons one and two in ’23 and ’24 and both times, well, you really loved it.

Somehow we skipped last year, but we’ve come to our senses and we’re back this summer for Season 3.

In a nutshell, the series is all about squeezing as much flavor and goodness as possible out of all the GORGEOUS produce we find at the farmers market this time of year.

Or in your garden, if you’re lucky.

Like before, Ken will be your guide to making the most of this bounty.

Say's Ken: I think it helps to have a guide because we all know how easy it is to get stuck in our recipe comfort zone. We all need a little nudge sometimes.

So he'll be shakin’ things up with you in five Thursday evening sessions in June and July.

Our lineup includes an incredible Phyllo Pie with Rice, Summer Greens and Cheese.  You’re going to love how we put this beauty together.

As for plain old pasta salad, forget about it. Instead, we’ll compose an orzo salad with tons of personality and pizzazz.

For the July 2nd class we’re going to stuff pita bread with seasoned beef and make arrayes - Middle Eastern street food we’ll serve with a crispy salad called fattoush.

You can cook these right on the grill so they’re perfect for your summer cookouts.

We’re going to make a saucy, One Pot Corn and Tomato Fusilli, because summers are perfect for carefree one-pot dinners.

And just for fun we’ll “bake” a 5-minute Blueberry Lemon Mug Cake…a bit of microwave magic in a cup. And all that’s just for starters.

It adds up to five plus hours of instruction, two recipes per class, downloadable recipes, live Q&A and commenting, and a boatload of new skills and ideas to help make your kitchen confidence soar.

All that, plus an early August round up session on Zoom, a virtual hang out where we all get to meet, greet, and recap program highlights.

It’s going to be a great series, so don't miss it.

Remember: if the class timing doesn’t fit your schedule and you can’t join us live, you get full access to all the recipes and replays.

We'll see you in class!
