Part custard pie, part cheesecake, our creamy Ricotta Pie recipe will delight your family and friends for years to come. The bonus: you'd be hard pressed to find a dessert with such a big payoff for so little effort. My advice: be sure to bake the pie at least several hours before you plan to serve it, and preferably the day before. Both the flavor and texture seem to improve when the pie is served cold. There's no need to garnish the pie or serve with an accompaniment. But if you like, a few fresh berries on the plate looks attractive and adds a splash of color.
